Tripe-Braided Cord

Dear Family + Friends,

Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

I grew up an only child. I am an introvert and I often do things alone, especially since Lee died. I ride my bike on trails alone, go for walks alone, wake up each day alone. When I had my bike crash last year - yep. I was alone.

Living alone, I know firsthand how it feels when the house is quiet and there's no one there to share the everyday moments with. It’s easy to feel as though the world is moving forward, and you’re stuck in a season of waiting or loss. But in moments like these, Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 reminds us that we were never meant to walk this journey alone.

When I am at my lowest, God is always there to be my companion. He promises never to leave or forsake us, and through Him, I find the warmth and strength that is needed in those times when I feel like I’m standing alone. In many ways, He is the third strand in the cord—the unbreakable bond that holds me together.

Though I don’t have a partner by my side, I believe that God will continue to bring the right people into my life at the right time. Whether through friendship, family, or community, I trust that He will always provide the support I need. And for those of you who might feel as though you’re in a similar season of waiting, remember: the right people, the right relationships, and the right support will come in God’s perfect timing. Or - maybe you could be the one to reach out first.

So, if you’re walking through a season of loneliness today, take heart. God sees you, He is with you, and He will never let you go. Reach out, trust Him, and know that you are part of a much larger family—a family that includes those who stand with you in prayer, encouragement, and support. And when the time is right, He will bring people into your life to walk beside you. Keep the faith, for you are never truly alone.

Just as a reminder, friends, I closed down my website. I have this site where you can now purchase my journal: https://wildflowersbypamela.square.site/

It’s not visually pretty - and I’m still trying to find a new avenue. But for now, this is here for purchases. The Restoring My Soul journal makes a beautiful Christmas gift! Do you know someone today that could use it?

Have a great week! Love,

Pam
